Service Management

Service management is absolutely vital to any type of managed service as it is the mechanism used to keep the customer up to date with the operational health of their IT systems. Service management includes:

  • Device Health Reporting – threshold and capacity management reports are used to regularly review device statistics and trends. Recommendations are then made to help improve overall system stability and preparedness for on-going support of the business function.
  • Service Reviews – regular service reviews are used to report to customer the performance of the service during the current period against the agreed service levels set out at the beginning of the period.
  • Asset/Inventory Management – includes business practices to join financial, contractual and inventory functions to support life cycle management and strategic decision making. On behalf of the customer CNS gather detailed hardware and software inventory information which is then used to make informed decisions.
