Strategic investment in skills and infrastructure returns 25% annual rise in revenue
Independent UK cyber security consultancy CNS Group reports a third year of strong growth – with an above average rise of 25 percent in sales revenue for the second year. Government accredited CNS helps UK organisations of all sizes build cyber security capabilities and maintain compliance. Every part of CNS’ cyber business grew in 2016 resulting in increased operating profit and EBITDA with a marked increase in demand for its advisory consulting and award-winning Managed Security Services (MSS) which achieved over £1m in new client revenue - contributing to a 32 percent increase in new logo sales.
"It's been another great year for CNS Group. We have continued to make strategic investments in security infrastructure and highly-specialised personnel – which at a time of industry skills shortage gives us the breadth and depth of knowledge, speed and scale to continue this trajectory in 2017", says CNS Group chief executive, Shannon Simpson.
CNS services continue to gain momentum across all sectors, particularly for Public Services Network (PSN) managed security and critical national infrastructure services in Finance and Rail companies.
“In our experience, despite an increased awareness of the cyber threat, too many organisations remain uncertain about how to get the best value from the growing number of separate assets they have bought or built to keep their businesses safe. This year, we will launch a new service developed to help organisations stop disparate security purchasing and start maximising the business impact of their cyber investments. Using our new structured techniques, we will help security professionals benchmark their existing resilience against their industry, establish better, more confident business risk conversations with stakeholders, and share visibility of performance against defined resilience goals for more informed decision making. We believe that this is the next, essential step in cyber maturity for UK businesses,” says Simpson.
